About this Blog

This blog is a successor to trumpedprogressives.com (which I published under a pseudonym during the Trump Administration, hoping to minimize death threats). Here, I focus on trying to understand what has gone wrong with American politics. I will comment on news and magazine articles, and I intend to do book reviews relevant to the topic.

My earlier blog featured humor and musical entertainment. I don’t plan to do that for this blog, or at least not to do much of it. We have survived Trump, and we have managed to keep our spirits up as best we could. Now is the time for serious reflection.
